selamat hari rayajust came back from visiting my colleague yahya's place for a hari raya visit, went with zura, yitong, ash and ed after we knock off. my cab-mates of yitong and ash arrived later although we left before zura+ed cos the uncle dropped us along the main road and we have to hunt for the block.
when we reached his place, we were treated to the goodies cakes and snacks and homemade satay, rice and chicken wings which were sedap. yahya was apologetic as he said he would have more to offer us but he didnt expect so much relatives to come during the day. well, actually we dont really mind but i suppose he felt paiseh ba.
yahya's around 40+ i suppose? have a couple of kids (i forgot exactly how many) , he dont look like it - but he's the top salesman of my shop. all the tais tais adore him, not cos he's very "sai nai" but more to, in my opinion that he gives a fatherly and a amicable feeling to people and to add he's also got a carefree attitude, nvr seen him stressed out or getting perplexed from difficult customers, i've much to learn from him. =p
got this a few days back after work together with ash - who wanted to get the iPod Nano but who knows that its out of stock totally in sg. end up left her contact and a deposit and wait for the stocks to arrive. there was a newspaper report (Urban?!) that Birkenstock in sg provides fcuked up service, dunno whether its the Tanglin or Wheelock. anyways, back to topic, when we reached, they closed the door behind us (clear sign of that they're closing soon) a brisk walk along the displays, then chose the Arizona (a close fight between the Florida) then tried a few pairs to get my size correct and bought it - to be reimbursed by my 2 lovable and sweet sisters for my bday pressie. thanks meis~
well, very soon will be november9th again. the 2nd one since setting this page up. the previous one was pretty sucky cos i got a HUGE setback a few days before it. but through the pain and sadness suffered, the other feeling - the realisation of affection reciprocated slightly neuter it abit. well... this coming one. hmm.
dont really have any idea of how to go about it. got something that i nvr shamelessly plug on my wishlist is that more than anything else, all i want for my bday is probably a movie date. yea. with HER. yea, that's it.
may seem like an simple and innocuous request but it ain't so. *smiles*
