:: alfie ::
went to watch this with my good friend patricia cos today half day, and met her after
her sch. didnt have any movie in mind, so went to look see look see @cineleisure.
decided on Alfie cos it'll be starting in 10mins time + probably me a good show.
lemme digress first, im a big fan of movies, and i usually read the reviews
(8days/life!) of them before actually watching any one. and im quite selective of
them also. wont anyhow waste my $$$ on lousy shows.
after the show finishes (around 1hr 40min), i got inspired. i wanna get a bike licence.
haha, cos in the show, his main transport is a vespa! (tried as i could, couldnt find
any pic online, haiz) damn freakin cool, not that im a poser/wannabe, i've been in
love with vespas, beetles, minis as long i could remember. in love with all things
retro~ any kakis to take licence together? lolz.
hopefully, it not another thing i would procrastinate.
yea, my comments about the show, jude law certainly fits the role of a playboy, his
ways with ladies are certainly something to learn(?) hahaha. nahz, im a old fashioned
romantic. loves the way he narrates his life throughout the show, it starts off
happy/chirpy/funny in the beginning about his relationships, conquests, but towards
the end, as moral predicaments, harsh lessons in the game of love cropped up, a
certain sombre mood sneaks up. rhetorical questions about life, the meaning of it all
surfaces. infact, things i sometimes asked myself. maybe the director see fit to have a
open ending leaving alfie walking off near a bridge in a cool dark night.
right... realised im a bad reviewer, best if u guys watch it yourselves. hahaha. no refunds tho'
