:: updates ::

kena complained that i've havent been updating my blog for awhile, and i agree. getting lazier. i feel like im such a slob, on my off days will just spent them mostly at home, like a wandering ghost. binging on COFFEE and C.S.I, i love that series! the original one not the Miami spinoff.

haha. think this post might be a long one, so hang on for the ride boys and girls! see how well i respond to my feedback? i do hope my comment box will have some business for once... >.<

well, here's what happened these days -

23th Dec

well, we went to PARTYWORLD (a karaoke chain in sg, for those uninitiated, i have to spare a thought for my global audience ya? *cold joke*) on a pretty short notice at. was pretty tired when i got the sms. practically stoning while lying on my bed watching tv. well, dragged my lazy bones of the bed, into the shower and took cab to orchard. well, if tennyson isnt that late, i wouldnt have to do that.. grrr. lolz.

alrighty that done, well, but a ktv session, we ended up pretty pissed drunk at the end cos we took advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free deal for jugs of beer. at least 12 jugs, tho i dont really remember, ha! just drink as they come. typical singaporeans kisau mentality at work here. haha. really didnt knew what i sang towards the end of the session. very very bad. after which we when for supper at geylang You Tiao Da Wang. have a faint memory of what i had. well, for those who's in my msn, would know my new year resolution is to quit drinking. but i have told a few that with this kind of lifestyle, i should change to drink moderately ba, but i kena scolded by xue. well, if that's so, i got like till the end of the week to really quit. grrrrr. wish me luck. haha.

24th Dec - XMAS EVE

maybe its just me, but i hate holiday crowds! esp the xmas n new year period! damn sickening! didnt really go to town unless needed during the festive period and definitely not the EVES for the countdown or whatever. so my bunch of shipmates decided to go to someone's house for a gathering. we asked siwei if its convenient to hold it at his place since he had invited us for a drink at his place a few times but we couldnt make it somehow.

prior to that though, i got a sudden sms from patricia the night before, during the ktv session. patricia's my friend's ex. she said she msg the wrong kelvin. but the content was cryptic. well, i called her cos i thought it was meant for me. called her and talked for awhile, and like that, we set up to met up for a chat at her workplace in orchard tmw. well, i know i maybe shouldnt do that, but i treat her as a friend when she was with together with my friend last time and we clicked well, so what the heck. well, after i got to her place, we chatted, she shown me her pics taken at germany and other places (vienna, amsterdam, london, rome) during her poly attachment earlier this year. wow, really really nice, esp italy, all those art pieces and buildings. damn! how i wish to go for a euro trip some time too! digression aside, yea, we talked about their breakup, an inevitable topic ba. well, what i've learnt that.. hate to say this, but its a diff version of what my fren told me, her story's much more convincing really, cant sense she's lying to me too, well, she has no reason to. my fren such a bastard. well, i know that in terms of other pple relationships its best not to meddle in it. but i have to say, it does made me dissapointed in my fren. sighz.

well, i asked her and her fren to join me to go to siwei's house after work, after discussing, they agreed. incidentally, they were dressed to the nine's cos our their work. and then chatted with them til their early knock off at nine. we booked a cab and went to siwei's place near kovan. haha, when we reached~ they were quite shy, maybe due to their dressing i suppose. after a few drinks, they expressed a desire to leave the place, the guys and girls tried to make them feel at ease but to no avail, oh well, they settled on angel's, a disco pub at MS. my first time there and only last time i suppose. i had to go with them cos i felt cos its my invitation to ask them to go to siwei's place in the first place. although i dont feel like leaving my frens, i had to accompany the girls. =s . yea, more about the place, absolutely hate it, the music (techno), the crowd (ah bengs) .. sickening man!!!
and i had to keep watch over esther (her fren) who danced on the platform almost the whole time we were there (less toilet breaks =p) didnt drank much maybe due to the company, had to remain sober to take care of them if any ruckus occur, and the crappy music which u occasionally hear bengs chanting their poems to the accompaniment of techno beats. >.< not that dance inducive to me. the bar was crappy too, dont even have brandy dry (fav drink) at all.

me : 1 brandy dry please.
bartender : *looks around* sorry, we're out of ginger ale
me : *thinking of the next drink to order*
bartender : *sheepishly* erm, sorry, we don't have brandy too.
me : *momentarily stunned* ermm.. just give me a beer.

heh. indeed, towards the end of our stay (1.30am) notice there's a crowd of wolves creepin towards esther, patricia was also quite protective of her, since its time for us to go, we took her down and off we went. i sent both of them home then back to siwei's place, by then its around 3am. got back and saw most of them with tomato faces~ haha. they are pretty high when i reached. just talked cock with them for a while and by 5, most of them are already knocked out. look at the pics and you know what i mean. =p . went up to the 2nd floor and slept on the sofa, while siwei sluggishly after much coaxing, when to his bed on the 3rd floor. not to bored you as to who slept where on the first floor, some literally. woke up at around 11-ish. surprised to find the table outside the porch has been cleared... took a peek out at the kitchen and saw siwei's mum preparing lunch. sooo touched. really embarrassed she had to clear our mess, apologise to her but she waved it off. haiyo. the guys finally awoke and we had a scrumptious lunch.. or rather feast i must say. haha. after that we headed home at around 3~

alrighty, think i got scrappy towards the end, sorry for the typos if any. pretty bushed completing this at this time.. yawnzzz..
